A Letter from Jonathan & Angie
We are grateful that you are taking the time to get to know us. We are a God loving couple who have been married for 11 years and have 2 sons and one in heaven. As a family, we seek joy and laughter every day! Every moment is a chance to teach and learn something new. We hope you feel our love and joy as you get to know us as potential parents for your baby.
We love to laugh and strive daily to find the joy in every moment. Over the years we have found that whatever we do together always turns out amazing! Whether its painting or building something like the chicken coop or a bookshelf, or just mowing the lawn, we have fun. We also love to roller skate, go to the museum and zoo, canoe, play in the snow, be creative, and also relax and watch movies. We love being together.
After three difficult pregnancies, we have been told it’s too risky for Angie to get pregnant again. We know God has a plan for us to have a bigger family. Because Angie is adopted by her Dad, we naturally know adoption is our next journey!
We have surrounded ourselves with supportive, God loving family and friends. Everyone is excited to love another member of our family! You and your baby are loved and prayed for daily!
Angie is an amazing wife and an even better mother. She teaches our family to live simply. Before becoming a stay at home mom, Angie worked as a hairstylist for 12 years. She has a love for learning and teaching; be it gardening, sign language, or crafting with the boys. Angie’s drive to teach is fueled by her love of learning. She has an amazing ability to make lessons fun.
Angie’s love and passion for helping others is fully realized when she is with children. She exudes patience and kindness even on bad days.
Jonathan is a loving, tender-hearted man, fully devoted to his family and God. He has the amazing ability to fully trust in God and speak life into every situation, even hard ones. Jonathan is a passionate artist of many trades, like painting, woodworking, and drawing. He plays multiple instruments and leads worship at church.
Jonathan puts 110% into everything, whether it’s his job as a graphic designer, wood workings, drawing, or helping me with housework. Taking pride in all he does is an amazing quality that our children learn because of him. He is an amazingly supportive husband and a 100% hands-on Daddy. I know that whomever God has for our family, Jonathan will love unconditionally.
We live in a homey farm-house with 3 bedrooms. It’s on 2 acres of land, which provides plenty of space for the kids to play. In our yard, we have a swing set, orchard, garden, and a little hill that is perfect to sled in winter. We also have chickens!
Our oldest Jax is 7. He is constantly making us laugh and has the biggest, most giving heart! Jax is always building and creating something or singing and playing instruments. He loves learning especially about volcanos and snakes. Every day Jax asks if his new baby is here.
Arlow is 4 and gives the best hugs and kisses. He is so gentle and sweet but definitely lets his brother know when he doesn’t like something. He loves Batman, puppies, and food! He will be an amazing big BubBub.
Aavyn is our angel. He was born with severe health issues and grew wings shortly after birth. He may be in heaven but is very much a part of our family.
We feel so blessed to be parents and can’t wait to share our home and love with another little one. We promise to provide an environment full of laughter and unconditional love. We will take every moment as an opportunity to teach them the beauty of who they are and how special God has made them. Your child will grow up playing in snow and leaves, having kitchen dance parties, story time, museum visits, and lots of singing. Most of all they will grow knowing how incredibly loved they are. We are open to present and future communication with you.

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We love having picnics as a family. Even if it's a rainy day pizza picnic in the living room. Jonathan also built a picnic table for our yard!
God is the cornerstone of our home. Both of us were raised in loving Christian families. We have strong hearts for serving others. Being examples of Christ's love is a deep passion we have and one that we strive daily to teach our children. Jonathan's love for God is evident in his willingness to love and help others everywhere he goes. Angie is known as a prayer warrior. The power of prayer has carried us through a lot in our lives. Every day we try to show our children what it looks like to show others the love of Christ in both our words and actions.
Our Musical Interest
Music is an instrumental part of our lives! (pun intended!)
About Our Home
We live in a beautiful little farmhouse on 2 acres of land. We have chickens and lots of trees including an apple orchard and 2 maple trees that one day we hope to make maple syrup from. Our barn is where Jonathan does all his woodworking in his spare time. We also have a big garden that Angie and the kids plant fruits and veggies every year. It feels like we live in the country but we are only 30 minutes away from a big city. Our neighbors and area are full of many different cultures which provide a diverse atmosphere for our family. Being in a small town we get the little small town activities like parades and festivals, but being so close to the city also allows us to adventure into museums, zoos, and a multitude of different cultural festivals!
Jax is 7. He is constantly making us laugh and has the biggest, most giving heart! For his birthday this year, he actually asked for donations to our local food bank instead of presents. He of course still got gifts but he found more excitement in seeing party guests fill two grocery carts full of goods.
Arlow is 4 years old and is also a very loving boy. He loves playing legos with Jax and watching Transformers. He loves Black Panther and gives the best hugs. Food is also a #1 favorite for this growing boy!
Aavyn is our sweet angel. He was born with severe health issues and grew wings shortly after birth. He may be in heaven but is very much a part of our family. It's a comfort to know that our children will always have their own special guardian angel brother watching over them.
