Toddler Adoption

Toddler Adoption

woman with toddlerSometimes we receive questions from birth mothers who are considering placing their toddler for adoption. If you need an adoption plan for an older child because you feel you’re unable to parent another child, having financial struggles, or wish to give your child more than what you can offer right now, adoption can be a positive, loving choice.

No matter your situation, you’re not alone, and an open toddler adoption gives you many options.

Most of Lifetime’s adoptions are newborn or infants, however we do work with adoptive parents seeking to adopt a toddler, preschool-aged child, or a child up to seven years old.

This older child confidential adoption questionnaire allows us to gather some basic info. Additionally, it is used to help you learn more about what a toddler adoption can look like for you and your child. This form is completely private and does not mean you have to make a choice now.

It’s not legally binding; it helps us provide you information on families who want to adopt African American babies and chidlren who are ready and approved to adopt your child. Everything you tell us about yourself and your adoption is confidential and private.

You can email, talk to, text with, and even meet the adoptive parents before making your final decision. You can even get to know more than one family if you like. If you have questions you’d like answered before starting this form, please feel free to call or text us at 1800-923-6784.

If you would feel more comfortable talking with one of our caring coordinators, please call or text us. You can call or text 24/7 with any questions at 1-800-923-6784. If you feel like you’re alone, you’re not, because we are here to help you.
